Bringing Unmuted to Life

There are moments in life when a vision you have carried quietly for so long finally begins to take shape, and Unmuted has been one of those moments for me.

To walk into Sol Gallery and see the work of all ten artists hanging together was incredibly emotional and something I will treasure for a very long time. As artists, one of the biggest challenges we face is simply getting our work out into the world and seen. To create a space where each artist’s story could be shared and celebrated felt deeply meaningful.

What made the exhibition even more special was that none of the artists had seen each other’s work beforehand, yet together the collection felt so beautifully cohesive. Walking through the gallery felt uplifting — a space filled with colour, energy, joy, and emotion. It was exactly as I had hoped people would experience it.

As I sit here reflecting on it all, I feel overwhelmed with gratitude and extremely proud of what has been achieved alongside my wonderful friend Tracy Lee — a true little pocket of dynamite. Together, we brought a shared vision to life, and seeing it finally unfold has been a very proud moment indeed.
